Design proposition

Home screen

 

The home screen of the application is designed to provide a quick overview of what’s new in the store – users can access current promotions, seasonable newsletters, and popular and recommended products. Users also have the ability to access the unique feature – toolbox, where they can find level, ruler, etc.

The search functionality at the top of the screen follows one of the patterns for e-commerce solutions. It also has the ability to scan the product’s barcode to allow users to find more information about the selected product when they are in the store.

Product page

 

Each product has a dedicated page where all the information can be found – description, specification, advice, etc. Opinions and reviews are important in online shopping, which is the reason why they are available on the top of the product page.

The availability of the products can vary from store to store, so in the app, users can quickly check if the selected item is available to order online or is it in stock in the nearest store.

Comparison engine

 

One of the worth-mentioning features of the app is the comparison engine. It allows users to compare several products at once over different factors.

The products added to the comparison are presented in the form of cards that can be freely changed with each other. This allows users to control the order of viewed offers.

Directly from the comparison view, the user can add the selected product to the cart or save the entire comparison for later.
